I was just looking at the Costco coupons and thought I saw a walker/wheel chair listed.... but read your mom/dad already found one. I'll have to check it out next time you've got it with you. Sorry you're stomach test was such a disaster, but glad you got it out of the way. Remember, the passage from the bible... "Those who have tubes shoved up their nose, will inherit the earth". Or, something like that. Father Tim will be able to refresh our memory. Hope you had a Happy Bday. Don't sing off key at the Christmas performance... or I'll laugh very loud and point at you. :) Love Amy

I saw that your friend Katie's website is up and running... she doesn't have as many freckles as you, but she definately looks better in a dress. ;) I heard she had a video, how did we miss out on that opportunity?? Of course, the camera adds 5 lbs and I can't afford to gain any more weight, can you? tee hee. The girls enjoyed eating the cupcake your dad gave them at Bingo last night... but then, your dad really stole them from ME. I'm pretty sure I had the winning ticket (They just misread the numbers). I think you must have a trip to California coming up soon, right? Maybe it can wait until after the holidays... talk to you soon. AR

Hello, Cullen and family! I was pleased to hear of the positive outcome of your recent visit to California. Sadly, I missed meeting you when I visited my sister in Auburn last week. I guess it wasn't meant to be this time around. Next time I fly out west for a visit, I'll try NOT to make it during a scheduled check up! At Cathedral Catholic in Johnstown, PA, we're gearing up for a new school year. Where did the summer go? My students have continued to ask about you and think about you. You have earned quite a cozy spot in their hearts, Steele family! I suppose that school will be starting for you, too. I'm trying to put a little album of photos together for all of you. My students want you to know who they are! We will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Colleen, thank you for the blog. I enjoy keeping up with Cullen's PROGRESS! Let's keep it positive. God bless you all...Rose Batzel

Hey Cullen- Hope you're back to being an ornery 6th grader when I see you in a few weeks. I'm not sure how come everyone seems to be getting so much older.... when I just keep getting younger (and better looking). Audrey and Lillian are at camp this week. I keep looking around the house for them and keep finding Mr.Riley... he's just not as cute and snuggly as the girls. I didn't realize Aiden stayed home for this trip, I could have gone over to your house and pinched his cheeks. He just loves it when I do that! tee hee. See you soon- pretty soon life will be good again.... lots of homework and luke warm milk for lunch. mmmmmm. Love Amy
HI Cullen
I am not sure you know us, but we 1st met you during Fall ball for your brother Aiden! You were such a sweet boy and played with our youngest at the time which was 3 yrs old. Then we saw you at our church about a month ago for a fundraiser for you! I was so touched reading your story that we are trying to do what we can for you! I love your picture because you are so happy with life that when i see you at the ball field you make me happy. You are an inspiration for all and live life to the fulliest! God works in misteriest ways. We are praying for your transplants and will always try on our end to help you meet your goals. Love, The Whitcomb's

We're pleased to have submitted $800 toward your goal, Cullen! Our Cathedral Catholic Academy held a fundraiser (with a goal of $400) that raised $800! We are so pleased to be able to help, not only financially, but our prayers are always with you and your family. Our gift was sent to COTA in Cullen's name. God bless you all, and we will remain in touch. Rose Batzel, Johnstown, PA

Hi, Colleen and family! The students at Cathedral Catholic Academy in Johnstown have not forgotten you! It's been a very busy year for everyone, I'm sure. Our National Junior Honor Society is deep into its fundraising efforts for Cullen. We've elected to sell "Sheetz" fundraising coupons. Sheetz is a Mid-Atlantic convenience store chain whose main office is near Johnstown, PA. It is a VERY popular place! They set their goal at $400, but by the looks of things, we are poised to go well over that. You remain in our thoughts and prayers. I've followed your travels along with your ups and downs. God bless you all. We remain...Friends in Christ from Johnstown, PA!
